Smartly Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the data practices of each app published by Smartly Labs LLC. What each app collects is different, so each app has its own section below.

The Short Version

Smartly AI has no accounts and never asks for your name, email, or phone number. To solve or grade your work, we send the photo or text of it to an AI service. If you start a voice revision session, what you say is sent to that AI service so it can talk back to you; we don't record or keep it. Your history, streaks, and settings stay on your device. The app also includes Meta and TikTok software that tells those companies when the app is installed, opened, or a free trial starts, so we can measure our ads. It never sends them your questions or photos.

Information We Collect

Homework Photos and Questions: When you scan or upload a question, the area of the photo you crop is sent to a third-party AI service through our server to read the question and generate an answer, step-by-step explanation, and practice questions. Questions you type, follow-up questions you ask, and the grade level you choose are sent the same way. This content is used only to answer your question.

Grading: When you grade homework, the photo of the whole page is sent to our AI provider through our server to check your answers. When you grade an essay, the app reads the text on your device (from a photo, PDF, or text file) and sends only the text, along with your grade level, to our AI provider through our server. The photo of an essay stays on your device. The result includes an estimate of whether the writing sounds AI-generated; part of that check runs on your device. Grades are shown on your device and are not kept on our server.

Voice Revision Sessions: If you tap Start revision and allow microphone access, the app streams your voice to our AI provider while the session is open so it can respond out loud in real time. Your essay, its grade, and your feedback are also sent so the session is about your work. Our server only provides a short-lived access key for the session; your voice goes directly from your device to our AI provider and does not pass through our server. What you say is turned into text so it appears on your screen. The microphone is used only during a session, and we do not record, store, or listen to your voice.

Speech Recognition and Spoken Feedback: If a live session isn't available, the app uses Apple's speech recognition to turn what you say into text. It runs on your device when your iPhone supports it; otherwise Apple processes the audio under Apple's privacy policy. That text is then sent to our AI provider through our server to generate a reply. When the app reads feedback out loud (for example, "Hear the roast"), the text being read is sent to our AI provider through our server to create the audio.

App Identifier: On first launch, the app creates a random identifier and stores it on your device. It is sent with each question, grade, and voice session request so we can enforce usage limits and prevent abuse. It is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, or the advertising identifier.

Reports: If you report an answer, we receive and keep the report so we can review it and improve answers. A report includes the report type, the question text, the AI's answer and steps, your grade level, the app version, your device model (for example, "iPhone 15"), and your iOS version. Reports do not include your photo or your app identifier.

Local Data: Your question history, streaks, badges, credits, and settings are stored only on your device.

Advertising Measurement

Smartly AI includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK and the TikTok Business SDK. We use them only to find out which of our ads lead to installs and subscriptions. They receive app events such as installs, app opens, free-trial starts, and in-app purchases, along with technical information such as your device model, iOS version, app version, and IP address. Meta and TikTok handle this information under their own privacy policies.

Smartly AI does not ask for permission to track you, and it does not collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). We never send your homework photos, questions, or answers to Meta or TikTok. Smartly AI does not show ads.

Third-Party Services

  • Our AI provider answers your questions, grades your work, runs voice revision sessions, and creates spoken feedback. It receives the content described above. Under its terms, this data is not used to train AI models, and it may be kept for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse.
  • Cloudflare hosts our server, which forwards your questions and grades, issues voice session keys, and receives reports.
  • Meta and TikTok handle advertising measurement, as described above.
  • jsDelivr serves the math formatting library (KaTeX) used to display equations. Like any website, it receives your IP address when it loads.
  • Apple processes subscriptions through StoreKit (we never see your payment information) and provides speech recognition when it can't run on your device.

Notifications

If you start a free trial and allow notifications, Smartly AI schedules a reminder on your device before the trial ends. The reminder is created and delivered on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

Age Requirement

Smartly AI is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You can clear your history in the app or delete the app to remove all local data. You can limit ad measurement in your iOS privacy settings. To ask us to delete a report you submitted, email us at the address below.

Photopin

Unlock the world: travel badges, your photo map, and group maps

The Short Version

Photopin uses your location to unlock map tiles as you explore, to record trips, to pin your photos to a map, and to unlock travel badges for the places your photos were taken. You can use the map, badges, tiles, trips, and photos without an account, and that data stays on your device. If you sign in to create or join a group, your profile, your tile count, and any photos you share to a group are stored on our servers so other group members can see them.

Information We Collect

Location: Photopin uses your device's location to unlock map tiles, record trips, and attach a location to the photos you take or import. If you allow "Always" location access, Photopin keeps doing this in the background while the app is closed. Your location history, unlocked tiles, and trips are stored only on your device and are never uploaded. The only location data that leaves your device is the location of photos you share to a group (see below), and only the total number of tiles you have unlocked is uploaded, not where they are.

Place Names: To label a photo with a place name, the photo's coordinates are sent to Apple's geocoding service, which follows Apple's privacy policy.

Travel Badges: When you add or take a photo, Photopin works out which badges it earns (country, state, national park, landmark, summit and so on). Most of this is matched on your device against a built-in list of places. To find the country, region and city, and nearby points of interest, the photo's coordinates are sent to Apple's geocoding and Maps services. To find a named mountain summit nearby, a rounded coordinate (accurate to about 200 meters) is sent to the free OpenStreetMap Overpass service (overpass-api.de, or its mirror at maps.mail.ru if the main server is busy). Nothing else is sent with it: no photo, account, or device identifier. Your badges, and the place information looked up for them, are stored only on your device.

Trips From Your Photos: If you turn it on, Photopin groups the photos you add into trips using each photo's date and location. This happens entirely on your device. You can turn it off in Settings.

Photos: Photos you take or import are stored on your device. A photo is uploaded only when you share it to a group. In that case we store the image, its coordinates, its place name, and the group it was shared to.

Account Information (optional): You need an account only for group features. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we store your name, email address, a unique user ID, and the date your account was created. If you use Sign in with Apple, you can choose to hide your real email address.

Profile and Group Data: For signed-in users, we store your display name, avatar color, total unlocked tile count (used for group leaderboards), the groups you create or join, each group's name and invite code, and the photos shared to each group.

Local Data: Your photos, trips, unlocked tiles, location history, and settings are stored on your device.

How We Use Your Information

  • Unlock tiles and record trips on your map
  • Pin your photos to the places they were taken
  • Unlock travel badges and challenges for the places in your photos
  • Create and manage your account
  • Show shared photos and leaderboards to members of your groups

What Other People Can See

Members of a group you join or create can see your display name, avatar color, and tile count on the group leaderboard. They can also see the photos you share to that group, with each photo's location and place name. Anyone with a group's invite code can join that group. Photopin does not show your email address to other users. Your trips, location history, and photos you have not shared are never visible to anyone else.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase hosts our database and photo storage for accounts, groups, and shared photos.
  • Apple and Google provide sign-in, and they share your name and email address with us when you sign in. Apple also provides maps, place names, and subscriptions through StoreKit. We never see your payment information.

Photopin does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, does not show ads, and does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your data.

Anonymous Usage Data

To improve the first-run experience, Photopin sends us one anonymous record about your setup: which onboarding screens you saw and how long you spent on each, whether you finished, which subscription prices you were shown, and whether you started a free plan or a subscription (and which one). The record uses a random ID created for that run. It does not include your name, email, location, photos, or any device or advertising identifier, and it cannot be linked to your account. It is sent to our server, hosted on Cloudflare. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Share anonymous usage.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Photopin schedules them on your device: a reminder before a free trial ends, occasional nudges to get out and explore, and memories of trips on their anniversary. If you also allow "Always" location access, Photopin can let you know when you are near a place you could unlock. This check happens on your device using the system's location monitoring. No notification or location data is sent to us. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile, your group memberships, the groups you created, and the photos you uploaded from our servers, and it clears the app's data on your device. Signing out removes your account data from the device but keeps your local photos and trips. If you have trouble deleting your account, email us and we will do it for you.

Repmax

Workout logger with strength predictions

The Short Version

Repmax has no accounts and no servers. Everything you enter and log stays on your device. We don't collect it, see it, or sell it.

Information Stored on Your Device

Profile: your sex, age, height, bodyweight, whether you're bulking, cutting or maintaining, whether you train natural or enhanced (you can choose "Rather not say"), how long you've been lifting, and your training preferences (training and rest days, split, sets per exercise, session length, gym type and goals). An optional name appears only on share cards you create.

Lifts and Workouts: the personal records you enter, every workout you log (exercises, sets, weights, reps, set types and notes), your saved workout templates, and the estimates Repmax calculates from them (estimated maxes, ranks, natural ceiling and PR dates).

All of this is calculated on your device and stored only in the app's local storage. It is included in your device backups (for example iCloud Backup) under your own Apple account, which follows Apple's privacy policy. Repmax never uploads it to us.

Sharing

Share cards and stickers (like your rank, natural ceiling or PR countdown) are created on your device. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it through the iOS share sheet, and then it goes only where you send it.

Third-Party Services

  • Apple handles subscriptions, free trials and offer codes through the App Store. We never see your payment information.

Repmax does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, does not show ads, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Notifications

If you start a free trial and allow notifications, Repmax schedules a reminder on your device before the trial ends. No notification data is sent to us.

Data Deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, deleting Repmax deletes all of it. Remove it from your device backups too if you want it gone everywhere.

Unwait

Daily steps and a private coach for overthinkers

The Short Version

Unwait has no accounts. Your answers, plan, wins and conversations are stored on your device. When the app uses AI (to write your follow-up questions, reply as your coach, or write your weekly check-in), the text it needs is sent to a third-party AI service to generate a response. We don't keep it, and we never sell anything.

Information Stored on Your Device

Your answers: an optional first name, the goal you're working toward and its area, what you want most, how long you've wanted it and how often you think about it, what gets in the way, your fears, when your thoughts are loudest, roughly how much time you spend thinking about it, your age, how you'd feel in a year, whether you've tried before, how much time a day you can give, your coach's tone, your reminder time, and your answers to the follow-up questions.

Your progress: your plan's steps (including any you add), every win you log (time spent and how you felt), your weekly check-ins, and your conversations with the coach.

All of this is stored only in the app's local storage, encrypted by iOS while your device is locked. It is included in your device backups (for example iCloud Backup) under your own Apple account, which follows Apple's privacy policy. You can lock the app with Face ID or your passcode; Unwait never sees your face data.

AI Features

Before anything is sent, the app asks for your agreement. After that, three features send text through our server to a third-party AI service:

  • Follow-up questions: the goal you typed, so the AI can write a few questions about it.
  • Coach: your message, your recent conversation, and context that shapes the reply (your first name, goal, what you want most, obstacles, fears, follow-up answers, daily time, preferred tone, current stage and recent wins).
  • Weekly check-in: the same context plus how your week felt, to write a short note.

Requests carry a random identifier created on your device, used only to prevent abuse and limit usage. It is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID or device. Our server does not store this text. The AI service processes it to generate a response and may retain it for a limited period for abuse monitoring under its own policies; it does not use it to train its models. Conversations are saved only on your device, and you can clear them at any time.

The coach is AI. It is not a therapist, doctor or crisis service. If you mention wanting to hurt yourself, the app shows crisis resources such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US).

Third-Party Services

  • A third-party AI service powers the AI features described above.

Unwait does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, does not show ads, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Unwait schedules your daily reminder (which may name your next step) and, if you start a free trial, a reminder before it ends. These are scheduled on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

Data Deletion

Use Me → Erase everything to delete all of your data from the app, or delete the app. Remove it from your device backups too if you want it gone everywhere.

Profitopia

Business simulator game

The Short Version

Profitopia has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no servers. Your game is saved only on your device. We don't collect it, see it, or sell it.

Information Stored on Your Device

Your game: your founder's name and avatar, your companies, their progress, your purchases' unlock status, settings, and the lessons you've unlocked. All of it is saved in the app's local storage and included in your device backups (for example iCloud Backup) under your own Apple account, which follows Apple's privacy policy. Profitopia never uploads it to us.

All money, businesses, and people in the game are fictional. Nothing in Profitopia is financial advice.

Third-Party Services

  • Apple handles in-app purchases through the App Store. We never see your payment information.
  • Apple may show its standard rating prompt. Whether and when it appears is controlled by Apple.

Profitopia does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, does not show ads, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Profitopia schedules them on your device: for example when an upgrade finishes, when your business levels up, or when your daily bonus is ready. They are created from your game data on your device. No notification data is sent to us. You can turn them off in iOS Settings.

Data Deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, deleting Profitopia (or using "Delete all progress" in the app) deletes it. Remove it from your device backups too if you want it gone everywhere.

Age Requirement

Profitopia is suitable for all ages. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, email us at the address below. We do not sell personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of any of our apps after changes means you accept the revised policy.
